About Us

We are a church committed to building a thriving community of grace that seeks healthy healing relationships with God and others. Our community cares for others through practical ministries of compassion as a natural response to God’s grace.

Our main worship service is offered in-person at CWAA and online via YouTube livestream and Zoom. Video conferencing links will be in your church email and in-person attendees meet at Chinook Winds Adventist Academy.

10th Annual SAGE Alberta Convention - May 3-5, 2024

The 10th annual SAGEAlberta Convention will take place at the College Heights Adventist Church from May 3-5. Visit their landing page to learn more. 

Adventurer Family Camp, June 7-9, 2024

Foothills Summer Camp Registration is Open

Foothills Camp's summer youth camp program runs from June to August and features the Christian teaching of salvation according to the Gospels.

he program is designed to assist campers in developing life skills and self-confidence by promoting sportsmanship, emphasizing teamwork, teaching responsibility and building self-esteem. Mt. View Chorale Practice
May 3, 2024 at 6:00 PM

In preparation for a mini-concert during our May 4 worship service, the Mountain View Chorale will be practicing on most Friday evenings from 6pm to 7:30pm in the library at CWAA.

Master Guide Outdoors (MGO) Meeting
May 3, 2024 at 7:00 PM

The Master Guide Outdoors Club works through the Master Guide requirements with a strong emphasis on outdoor activities with the goal of connecting with God and each other through nature. Church in the Park

Join us for Church in the Park on May 25! We'lll be at Bowness Park, Picnic Site TBD. We have the site reserved from 8:45 a.m. – 2:45 p.m. Here are the details: 

·         Come early so we can use the spot the full time we are there.

·         Bring blankets and change of clothes in case weather changes.

Tween Group

Mountain View church is running a monthly Tween group for girls and boys in grades 5-7. The groups meet monthly on the last Wednesday of the month at Maranatha Christian Reformed Church, 2111 52 St NW, Calgary. For information, call Melanie Chiu (girls) or Julio Davila (boys).

Mountaineers Pathfinder Club - Camping Skills Overnighter
May 31, 2024 - June 2, 2024

The Mountaineers Pathfinder Club will have an overnighter camping event on the Ohlmanns property to practice their camping skills from May 31 to June 1.

Mountaineers Adventurer Club - Olympics Event

Alberta Conference Adventurer Family Camp
June 7, 2024 - June 10, 2024

The Alberta Conference Adventurer's Family Camp will take place June 7-9 at Foothills Camp. This year's them is "God of Wonders." Our feature speaker will be Professor Ryan Hayes (aka Dr. Bubbles) from Andrews University.

Investiture - Mountaineers Adventurers and Pathfinders

The Investiture Ceremony for the Mountaineers Uniformed Ministries will take place on June 15 during the main worship service at Mountain View SDA Church. We look forward to celebrating the acheivements of our children and youth over the past year!
